In Pulse Crops Ecopar is registered for the control of several broadleaf weeds in Faba Beans, Vetch and Field Peas. In Faba Beans and Vetch, Ecopar is used in conjunction with a non ionic surfactant for suppression of broadleaf weeds such as Marshmallow, Prickly Lettuce and Wild Radish. Weeds should be small (i.e. 2 to 4 leaf and not more than 6cm), while the crop should be at the 3-5 leaf stage. The application of Ecopar to Faba Beans and Vetch can cause desiccation of the crop within 7 days. New growth and new leaves will be unaffected and the crop will normally recover. Yields are normally unaffected. Stress conditions after application may increase the time taken for the crop to grow out of the symptoms. This use should be considered a salvage option only for these crops where other alternatives are not viable. In Field Peas Ecopar can be mixed with either Aspect Options (Diflufenican) or Stacato (Metribuzin) for Post Emergent control of broadleaf weeds.

In Cereal Crop
• Registered for broad leaf weed control in wheat, barley, oats and triticale
• The Ecopar/ MPCA 750 mix can be used as early as the 2 leaf stage of the crop
• Effective on troublesome weeds like wild radish, bifora and bedstraw

In Pasture
• Ecopar mixed with MCPA 750 is proving to be a very effective herbicide in clover and medic pastures
• Provides a wide range of weed control including capeweed, wild radish, wild turnip and geranium
• Applied from the 3rd trifoliate leaf stage of the legume
